They call Him the Lion of Judah.
Majestic, powerful, untamed.
But in the very next breath, they call Him the Lamb who was slain.
Soft, sacrificial, silent.
Why would God wear both skins?

Revelation’s Paradox
In Revelation 5:5–6, John writes:
“See, the Lion of the tribe of Judah… Then I saw a Lamb, looking as if it had been slain.”
Boldness and humility aren’t opposites — they’re divine co-conspirators.
God leads with strength and softness. Jesus could calm a storm and let Himself be nailed to a cross.

Symbolism
I’ve can see them:
A lion, regal with Scripture braided into its mane.
A lamb, glowing with quiet dignity.
They stand beside each other, framed like stained glass — strength and gentleness dancing in light.
That’s the balance I crave in my walk. Not just courage to speak, but grace to listen.
Not just fire, but purity.

Devotional Reflection
Where is God asking you to roar today?
• Speak truth in a room that prefers silence?
• Create art that’s too weird to explain, but deeply divine?
• Stand firm when comfort begs you to sit down?
And where is He asking you to walk softly?
• Apologize with sincerity?
• Let go of control in prayer?
• Embrace someone who’s different with quiet love?
True faith is both. And Roaring Truths is a space where lion-hearted living makes room for lamb-like humility.
